To search files - locate the "Files search" section on a left side of page.

Use following fields for more advanced options:

"Keywords"
Use words or part of words which you looking for in - "Subject", "File name" or "Author". Use "Search by" to customize your search. You can not use keywords like - "*word". Do not use "*" with part of word. All special symbols will be ignored.

"In newsgroup name"
Use words which you looking for in selected newsgroups. Only word-combinations divided by space will be accepted .

"Search by"
Here you can choose in which fields on newsgroups you want to find selected files inserted in "Keywords".

"File type"
Here you can choose type of files which you looking for. Files can be grouped in following types: "Images", "Video", "Audio", "Programs", "Archives".

"File extension"
Here you can select exact extension (format) of file which you looking for.

"Placed not earlier"
Use this field to select posting date from.

"Placed not later"
Use this field to select posting date to.

"Sort by"
Here you can sort results. There are several variants available: by "Date", "File name", "Subject", "Newsgroup name", "Sender", "Popularity".

"Sort order"
Here you can assign sort order: "Decrease" or "Increase".

"Results on page"
By default, the amount of your results will be on several pages. You can always extend the amount of results from 24 to 96.

"Preview only"
This option defines the way of search results. If you uncheck this option - you will get the list of files with detailed description. If you check this option - you will get the list of thumbnail (mini) pictures. This option is very suitable for visual viewing results for graphic or video files.

"Show duplications"
The file names can be the same in search results. For example, same files was posted to different newsgroups. By default, this option is unchecked. If you select this option - you will get whole bunch of duplicated files from all newsgroups.
